This might surprise some people, but the worst results I ever saw weren’t because I wasn’t working hard enough… they happened when I was going to the gym and lifting heavy.
I was constantly stressed, rushing to make classes, pushing heavier, and layering more physical stress on top of an already chaotic life.
As a mom of three, my nervous system was fried, my energy was low, and my body just felt tired all the time. And no matter how “hard” I trained, the results weren’t matching the effort.
Switching to at-home Pilates and barre changed everything!
The workouts challenged me without wrecking me.
I could fit them into my schedule without rushing.
I finished feeling energized instead of drained.
And once my stress levels came down, my body finally started responding.
That’s when I started seeing more muscle definition and growth, more strength, better posture, and way more consistency than I ever had in the gym.
There isn’t one “right” way to train. There’s just the way that works for your body and your life. For me, Pilates and barre were the missing piece and I haven’t looked back since!
