I didn’t realize how bad it had gotten until I stopped.
Fast food between errands. Sugar for energy. Sugar for stress. Sugar because I was exhausted and just trying to survive.
Before this reset, I felt puffy, foggy, tired all the time, moody, and honestly just… off. Every afternoon I crashed. My cravings ran my day. I didn’t feel like myself and kept wondering when I’d feel normal again.
So, I committed to 30 days with no fast food and no added sugar.
The first week was uncomfortable — low energy, loud cravings, and a big wake-up call about how dependent I’d become. But I kept going.
Then something shifted.
By the second week, I woke up with real energy. Not forced, not caffeinated — real. I stopped crashing in the afternoons. I actually wanted to move my body again. I wanted to work out because I finally didn’t feel so tired and fatigued all the time.
By the end of the 30 days, I was down 5 pounds — but the weight loss wasn’t even the best part.
I felt light in my body. Clear in my head. Calm in my nervous system. Food no longer controlled me. My days felt easier. I had patience again. Confidence again.
I wasn’t dragging myself through life anymore — I felt like myself, just better.
That’s why we’re doing a 30-day no fast food + no added sugar reset in January.
